Case Study: Hyperloop One

THE CHALLENGE

We were briefed to bring the first public viewing of the Hyperloop One brand to life -their debut at InnoTrans in Berlin, the largest Rail Transport Exhibition in the world.

CREATE

With no tangible product, the challenge was to create an identity and a live experience space to stand apart from the other exhibition booths, while representing Hyperloop One’s vision for  the future. The goal of the client was to showcase to the rail transport industry that the Hyperloop concept is now becoming a reality.

EXPERIENCE

We designed the concept, communicated with designers, engineers, contractors, worked within budgets and finally built and installed the Hyperloop One expo booth.

IMPACT

As the only curved stand out of 967 exhibitors, the design succeeded in ensuring the brand got attention – generating attendee interest and interaction far beyond its footprint. “We worked with Catapult and designed an incredible interactive experience at our booth which gave attendees incredible insight into the future of transportation.” Erin Kearns, Head of Operations, Hyperloop One.Hyperloop One were then invited to attend international rail industry trade event in Dubai and London – both of which Catapult have been contracted to design and produce.
