CREATE // THE BRIEF
Catapult were brought on as partners by SCNY to design, install and produce the entire 3 day event in NYC. With off site workshops, a 2 day conference, 50 sponsors + exhibitors, 3,000 attendees, 120 speakers and 29 Mayors + Ministers from 40 countries around the world, it was a whirlwind. We were also brought on to design and build a number of key partner activations, including MasterCard, CEEIA + Microsoft.
EXPERIENCE //
Our entire suite of services were in action for SCNY19 – covering design, labour, registration, catering, content, layout, loading schedule, stage management, sponsor fulfilment, health + safety, security, signage, speaker management, lighting and all AV.
The combination of workshops, panels, breakouts, exhibitor talks and activations allowed for guests to hear from industry experts while also engaging on a personal level with topics close to their hearts, and to directly interact with the movers + shakers of the smart cities world.
IMPACT //
2019 was the most successful SCNY to-date. It was more immersive and interactive, with guests and sponsor feedback asking for the dates of the next one. It is now the largest Smart Cities conference in North America. The client has reserved the dates for 2020.
