IKEA unveiled its 2018 Ikea Spring Summer Showcase in Dublin.
CREATE // The Brief
This event objective was to give IKEA the opportunity to change their perception by showcasing IKEA as the leader in life at home with a truly modern and innovative take on home furnishings. The delaktig range designed by IKEA & Tom Dixon and omedelbar range design in collaboration with Bea Akerlund for the SS collection 2018 were showcased in an exclusive Dublin location.
EXPERIENCE // Delivering an experience to the target audience
IKEA’s 2018 summer collection features comfy outdoor furniture, solar driven lighting, colourful fabrics and fresh accessories. Influencers and media were invited along to explore the new range.
The launch event was styled by Kate O’Dowd from Love &, and produced by Catapult. The IKEA specialists were on hand throughout the day to speak with attendees about the best way to use each space. The event sought to highlight how the brand’s furniture that was created for better socialising, ease of use and in new and interesting ways. Spreading the word that IKEA has high-quality products too.
