A unique nighttime celebration of music, performance, food and drinks produced by Catapult
The IMMA Summer party is a truly unique nighttime celebration of music, performance, food and drinks in the buildings and grounds of Ireland Museum of Modern Art.
CREATE // Designing a Festival for the Masses
From the intimate to the epic, music filled the Great Hall and stunning Baroque chapel, spilling out onto the formal lawns of the IMMA Gardens. Working directly with the IMMA team, Catapult produced the event from concept to completion. Many of our team members have music and festival backgrounds, so we were eager to take on the challenge.
Experience // a Summer Party to Remember
Set in the stunning surroundings of Royal Hospital, Kilmainham and its beautiful gardens, the Irish Museum of Modern Art hosted guests for a night to remember. This summer party welcomed artist Linder and musician Maxwell Sterling as joint curators with a stellar line-up of musicians and performers.
There were some deadly acts whose performances reflect the themes of spirituality and mysticism via music, performance and ritual in a response to the current IMMA exhibition, ‘As Above, So Below: Portals, Visions, Spirits & Mystics’. The acts included a variety of musicians, DJ sets, live performances, dance and live film scores across the night.
Performances varied from the intimate to the epic! Hacienda legend DJ Greg Wilson was spinning the decks in the stunning Baroque chapel with tunes spilling out onto the formal lawns of the IMMA Gardens. Kuwaiti musician and visual artist Fatima Al Qadiri made her Irish debut. Other acts included WIFE, Conor Thomas, Lauren Fitzpatrick, CROWW, and Rian Treanor.
There were a series of live interventions that took place across the site throughout the night, and as always delicious food and drinks were available to purchase on the night and the grounds and galleries of IMMA will be open to art and culture lovers during the night.
IMMA’s Summer Party has become a landmark in the cultural calendar and an event that Catapult always look forward to attending and producing
