Paddy Power brought us in to be part of an audacious stunt which welcomed Tiger Woods to the island of Ireland for the The Open in Portrush. Officer and Gentlemen (based in Madrid) were the creative agency on the project and had some up with a very cheeky stunt that needed to be realised.

Experience //

Working with our great suppliers, Catapult took the creative and turned it into reality. On a stretch of land along the side of the A1 near Portrush, a giant 40ft billboard was erected overnight before the first day of The Open.

This was not a standard billboard though – this giant erection* also featured a real Cadillac Escalade which seemingly crashed thought the sign and balanced precariously within the structure. A smoke machine and halogen lights were added for extra theatre!

IMPACT //

The stunt was featured on Virgin Media News as well as front page of the Sun newspaper. It also featured on most news channels on the radio as well as Irish Star, Irish Daily Mail, Irish Independent, The Sun UK, and the Scottish Sun.
